These terms govern your use of youdownloader.website (“the Service”), operated by the team behind it (“we”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What the Service does
The Service is a technical tool. At your request it retrieves a publicly available video from YouTube and converts it into a file you can save. We do not host, index or publish videos, and prepared files are deleted automatically after about 15 minutes.
2. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for content that you are legally allowed to download. In particular, this means:
- videos you created or own the rights to;
- videos released under a licence that permits copying, such as Creative Commons or public-domain works;
- videos for which the rights holder has given you permission, or where the law in your country allows a private copy.
You agree not to:
- download, copy or distribute content in a way that infringes copyright or other rights;
- use the Service for commercial redistribution of third-party content;
- access the Service with bots, scripts or other automated means, or try to bypass its limits;
- interfere with, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.
You are solely responsible for the links you submit and for what you do with the files. Third-party platforms have their own terms — YouTube’s Terms of Service, for instance, restrict downloading — and it is your responsibility to comply with them.
3. Copyright
We respect intellectual-property rights and respond to valid notices. If you believe the Service is being used to infringe your rights, see our Copyright & DMCA page. We may block specific videos from being processed.
4. No affiliation
The Service is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google LLC. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
5. Availability and limits
The Service is provided free of charge and may change, be limited or be discontinued at any time without notice. We apply technical limits (for example on video length, quality and the number of requests) and may block access in cases of abuse or violation of these terms.
6. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or the accuracy or quality of the files produced.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profit, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Indemnity
You agree to hold us harmless from claims by third parties that result from your breach of these terms or from your misuse of content obtained through the Service.
9. Changes
We may revise these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continued use of the Service means you accept it.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the Service is operated, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
